Chris Gotterup staired down world number 2 Rory McIlroy on his way to the Scottish Open title at the Renaissance Club. The stunning win gets Gotterup into the Open Championship at Royal Portrush and into the Ryder Cup conversation for Bethpage Black. The top players in the world all played well this week including Rory, Scottie Scheffler, Ludvig Aberg and Viktor Hovland in Scotland and Jon Rahm in Spain.
